HERKIMER – Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES Visual Communications Media Arts students recently created posters to help the Herkimer BOCES Adult Practical Nursing Program with recruiting local adults who are interested in becoming licensed practical nurses.
Seniors in instructor Melinda Maycock’s Visual Communications Media Arts program designed the posters for Herkimer BOCES Adult Practical Nursing Program Coordinator Sara Nicolette, who had posters printed.
On Tuesday, March 28, Nicolette made breakfast for the Visual Communications students to thank them for their efforts.
“We’re trying everything we can to let people know about the opportunities there are for LPNs in our region and that we have openings for our next full-time and part-time classes,” Nicolette said. “So I wanted to thank the talented Visual Communications students for the outstanding posters they created for our program.”
