Four students who attend Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES Special Education classes at the Herkimer BOCES William E. Busacker Complex in Herkimer were recognized with a graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 21.
The graduates were:
- Brandon Brandt, graduating from Poland Central School District
- Landon Horan, graduating from West Canada Valley Central School District
- Anthony Humble, graduating from Mount Markham Central School District
- Keira Ricci, graduating from Frankfort-Schuyler Central School District
During the ceremony, speakers included Herkimer BOCES District Superintendent Sandra Sherwood, Board of Education President Holly Pullis, and Director of Special Education and Alternative Education Roberta Matthews and Supervisor of Special Education Tim Johnston. The Special Education Chorus also performed during the ceremony.
Graduates spoke during the ceremony as well, and they had a chance to walk the WEB Complex hallways one last time and give high fives to their classmates.
