Representatives from Riverhawk Co. took a tour on Tuesday, Oct. 24, of many Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES Career and Technical Education programs and discussed with students the need for qualified employees to fill machinist positions in the area.
Students from many Herkimer BOCES CTE programs develop skills necessary for job opportunities after graduation at businesses such as Riverhawk Co.
Located in New Hartford, Riverhawk Co. designs and manufactures the latest innovations within hydraulic tooling and instrumentation solutions. The Riverhawk Co. representatives toured Herkimer BOCES CTE programs including Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive Technology, Building Construction, Heavy Equipment Operation, Power Sports and Agricultural Mechanics, and Welding and Metal Fabrication Technology.
