Students from the Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES Building Construction program have been working on building a shed for use at the Town of Herkimer Park.
The Town of Herkimer Park re-opened following construction this summer with enhancements including a Fitness Court Studio, paved walking trail, lighting for the sports courts and more.
Herkimer BOCES Building Construction students are in the process of building a shed to be used at the park. Building Construction is a two-year program in which students integrate the home-building process into their learning – including building the foundation, framing, exterior and interior of a house.
The Town of Herkimer Park is located at 154 Pine Grove Road in Herkimer.
