HERKIMER – Fifty-two local adults were recently recognized for earing their diplomas through the Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES Adult Education Literacy Program over the course of the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years.
The Herkimer BOCES adult students graduated either by taking the National External Diploma program or the high school equivalency test known as the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC).
They were then honored at the Adult Literacy Graduate Recognition Program on Wednesday, June 23, at the Herkimer BOCES William E. Busacker Complex in Herkimer.
Herkimer BOCES wasn’t able to host a graduation ceremony last summer for the 2019-20 graduates due COVID-19, so the 2019-20 graduates were invited to join the 2020-21 graduates at this year’s ceremony.
