Herkimer BOCES is on a two-hour delay today, Wednesday, Nov. 16.
The Herkimer BOCES Pathways Academy Student Council recently organized a fundraiser for the Herkimer County Humane Society. Pathways Academy staff and students raised money, brought in food and treats for the animals and donated cleaning supplies to help the shelter.
Classrooms competed for the most donations with the winning classroom receiving doughnuts and apple cider. The Ms. Taylor/Ms. Oriole room won first place. The Mr. Dygert/Ms. Davis room placed a close second and also received doughnuts and apple cider.
Pictured here, Student Council advisors Cheri Evangelista Dina DeSarro pose with the donations as they dropped them off at the Humane Society.
